Three Chord Thursday: ABBA

On 8th July 2021 we will celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of two members of ABBA at Three Chord Thursday at 3 pm EDT. On July 6,1971 Agnetha Fältskog and Björn Ulvaeus married on 6 July 1971 in the village of Verum, with Andersson playing the organ at their wedding.

We always start promptly at 3 pm EDT with a warm-up, followed by our sunglasses ritual, line-up, and up to ten songs performed by volunteers who request to perform beforehand. We record and edit our song sessions to review, learn, remember, and share with the community. We use the same Zoom link each time. If you don’t have the Zoom info, be sure to register in advance and to get on the mailing list. Join our new public Facebook Group to get the latest and greatest.

For ideas and inspiration, please check out the ABBA Gold Songbook and ABBA songs on Ukulele Cheats.

The Line-Up

The song sheet that will be used and shared/scrolled on the Zoom screen will be the one in parentheses if it exists, next to the number of chords in brackets. Otherwise, it will be hyperlinked from the song title in BOLD (which means it can be transposed).
