FREE In-Person Music Session

Thursday 16th November 2023 evening at the “Pop Up” Chocolate Shop at Inman Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts

Anne Ku says

“I’m excited to bring music making with the ukulele to a unique space. Chocolate is the connection between the chocolatier proprietor and me. And it’s a joy to make it happen.”

“I’ve invited my pilates teacher to show us useful exercises to warm up our bodies for our workshop. A member of the New England Guitar Orchestra will play the bass to provide a solid rhythmic backing.”

“In the first half of the evening I will introduce my new book Fun with Uke – songs that everyone learned from childhood, so that we focus on learning the music – bespoke arrangements for high G ukulele. We break for chocolates. I’ve prepared easy fun songs for the second half of the evening.”

Testimonials

This was my first live group ukulele jam ever! I’ve been self taught for about a year, but after a few group lessons and an invite from our beloved event coordinator and song leader Anne Ku, this event made me feel like I had fully come in and sat down and was part of something that filled a deep longing inside of me. Each guest entered with a desire to connect, contribute and co-create musical and human memories.
