Book signing & free workshops at Walter Baker Building

Each year, the historic area of Lower Mills (that part of Boston that borders Milton, Mattapan, and Quincy, Massachusetts and home to the oldest chocolate factories in the country) is lit up for an afternoon event called the Holiday Stroll. Visitors walk from restaurants to shops, sit on the free trolley, and get free samples of snacks and other goodies. The Walter Baker Building will open its doors to book sales and signing by three authors, including me. Save the date – Saturday 29th November 2025 from 3 to 6 PM for free workshops and other events.

Book signing at Walter Baker Building in Lower Mills

Two established book authors will be signing their books: noted historian Anthony Sammarco and murder mystery writer Mary Stibal.

I will be selling and signing hard copies (and PDFs) of my ukulele books, as follows:

Pick Pluck Play! Book 1 for absolute beginners – published on 15th October 2025, on Amazon worldwide

Pick Pluck Play! Book 2 for beginners – available on Amazon worldwide from 22nd November 2025. (USA)

Fun with Uke Festive Edition – 8 easiest nursery rhymes with bespoke illustrations for coloring (20 pages)

Free Ukulele Workshops

Upstairs, I will provide ukuleles to show and try the music from my books.

Visitors will receive freebies, such as useful exercises, chord tables, excerpts (handouts) from the books.

There’s no need to bring anything as I will set up the book signing and workshop area with ukuleles, music stands, and more.
