3 Chord Thursday: Nursery Rhymes

On Thursday 6th October 2022, we explore two chord songs from our childhood. We can strum or fingerpick the two chords to accompany our singing or pluck the individual notes of the melody or create so-called chord melody arrangements. Some of the lyrics are so familiar that we don’t need to look at song sheets.

13 of the 24 nursery rhymes in “Fun with Uke Book” require only two chords to play. There are so many ways to spice up a two chord song everyone knows. Check out the video recordings below. Get a taste of the new PLUCK & PLAY class in Zoom. Order the new 80-page Fun with Uke Book, before the prices go up. Download the 24-page extract, sample pages for publisher from the webpage.
