Spice it up with suspended chords: free taster ukulele workshop

When a single chord is displayed for a long stretch of time, you can switch to its suspended chords to spice it up. Register in advance to attend this free ukulele workshop after Three Chord Thursday song session. The only pre-requisite is that you can read chord diagrams, such as fingering and switching the chords displayed in this blog post.

5:15 – 6:15 pm EDT

  • Warm-up exercises: basic strum patterns
  • A little music music theory: suspended chords and their function
  • Strumming and switching between chords and their suspended chords
  • Application to a song
  • Questions and answers

Doors open at 5:00 pm for set up and chit chat.

To order your handout for this session in advance, please choose one of the following options. The handout will then be e-mailed to you no earlier than 24-hours before the workshop.
