Songs in the Time of Corona: Covid-19 Blues

Following the theme of Three Chord Thursdays at Three 12-Bar Blues, let’s share songs about the current pandemic in twelve-bar blues form, as part of the Friday Songs in the Time of Corona series. There are various so-called “Covid Blues” out on Youtube. Maybe this will inspire you to write your own.

Please wear something BLUE — the more BLUE the better!

New original song:

Together Apart by Bruce, Italy

New parodies:

Crazy – Steffi, Massachusetts

Should I Stay or Should I Go – Lyn, Massachusetts

Is It the Flu (or Corona 2) – Jeannie, Massachusetts

Zoombie – Anne, temporarily in UK

Handwash Monday – John, London, UK

Here are a few to inspire you. The only songsheet I was able to find was Covid Blues from the database of Seattle-based Uke Society.
