Transposing by hand

Thanks to automatic transposition algorithms offered on websites like Ozbcoz.com, we don’t think twice about what’s involved in transposing a song manually. Without such options, how do we transpose all the chords for a given song by hand? To transpose means to shift all the notes and chords in a song by a certain interval. Think of transposing as an invisible capo.

100 Days of Ukulele 2022

3 Chord Thursday Songs in French

Coincidentally 14th July 2022 falls on a Thursday! Naturally we will share up to 10 songs in French. Voila! C’est bon! We had so many requests in the Songs with Non-English Lyrics that we decided to have separate sessions for Songs in Other Languages (not English, Spanish, or French), Songs in Spanish, and now Songs in French. Check out the French songs that have topped the US charts. This theme welcomes songs that have some or all lyrics in French, including songs you didn’t even realize have French lyrics in them.
